Led by the Vice Provost's Office, the GPS Alliance includes a variety of units that facilitate the University's global learning, teaching, research, and engagement.
Call for Nominations: Internationalization Awards
Nominations are being accepted for two University-wide awards that recognize commitment to internationalization by faculty, staff, and alumni. The Award for Global Engagement is given to faculty and staff in recognition of outstanding contributions to global education and international programs at the University or in their field or discipline. The Distinguished Leadership Award for Internationals is for international alumni, former students, and friends of the University who have distinguished themselves in their post-university work as leaders in their careers. Deadline is May 21.

The GPS Alliance is hosting virtual information sessions about the Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program. Interested faculty and professionals from all UMN campuses are encouraged to attend.
Announcing the new ICGC Director
Dr. Anant Maringanti has been named Director of the Interdisciplinary Center for the Study of Global Change (ICGC). He will start in the position later this spring.
